D-pixing! is a unique phonetic puzzle, inspired from the popular rebus games, where images represent words. This modern brain befuddler traces its roots to pictograms, the earliest form of writing from 3,400 BCE. Players are given a word and must find the syllabic sound illustrations that make up the word.
There are over 5,000 words and over 550 original illustrations for your entertainment.
D-pixing! lite is a “try it, you’ll like it” FREE version. It is level 1 of the game and the words are made up of 1-2 images.
The full version is available for a modest sum (support the artist!) and includes 2 further levels where there are words made up of 2-5 images to find. There are also bonus levels; “Homonyms” where you have to pick the words that sound the same and “Thingamajigs” where you have to spot the images that represent names.
You must play against the clock to progress and hopefully acquire zillions of points for high scores bonuses.
Most of all I hope it will be a pastime that delights you and engages a whole new set of cognitive skills
